Just as the Pentagon is declassifying activity-related files and videos UFO, admitting that in many cases it has no valid explanation for the phenomenon, JJ Abrams revealed that he will make one docuseries focused on these mysterious unidentified flying objects.
JJ Abrams will produce a UFO docuseries
Through his production company, the Bad Robots, and in collaboration with the manufacturer Glen Zipper, the well-known director will realize for Showtime a 4-part docuseries that “It will look at the phenomenon of mysterious objects in the sky and the clandestine influence that the US government, profitable private companies and the military may have in protecting the truth behind extraterrestrial phenomena to promote their own programs.”
In short, a sort of limited series to “Hunting Hitler”, the series of History made in 2015, when documents of the CIA and the FBI were declassified, suggesting that Hitler had not died in the Berlin bunker in 1945.
The protagonists of this docuseries will however be “aliens”, and the impact they have had in cultural and political terms in our society (probably mainly in the stars and stripes).
“The series examines the history of the phenomenon across cultural and political touchpoints, including shocking eyewitness testimony across the country. As the conversation becomes more bizarre and becomes mainstream by virtue of credible investigations into alien encounters, UFO addresses the most enigmatic questions of all: Why do we believe what we believe? And what is the elusive truth beyond this mystery that has lasted for decades? “
The series will debut on Showtime in its entirety on Sunday 8 August. We do not know if it will also reach any streaming service in Italy.
