Finally, the time seems to have come, even for audiences outside of Japan, of Violet Evergarden: The Movie, second feature film based on the light novel series written by Kana Akatsuki and illustrated by Akiko Takase.
The film, a spin-off of the 2018 anime series Violet Evergarden available on Netflix (here our review), is in fact ready to debut on the catalog of the streaming platform that has released the new official trailer with subtitles, also revealing the release date.

Sequel to Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll, the new film will arrive on Netflix in Italian on October 13th.
The trailer was released online on the YouTube channel Netflix Anime which also revealed the synopsis of the anime film:
As the world rises from the war and technological advances change her life, Violet still hopes to see her long-deceased senior officer again.
What is Violet Evergarden talking about?
After four years of uninterrupted conflicts between the North and South regions of the Telesis continent, a peace agreement is finally reached.
Violet Evergarden, a girl who has so far lived an existence only within the army, under the orders of Major Gilbert, must then reinvent herself a new life. She is adopted by the Evergarden family and hired in a writing company. He delivers letters from an old fellow soldier, Claudia Hodgins, initially in the role of postman.
Soon, however, the girl is fascinated by another role in the office: the Auto Memories Dolls, whose purpose is to write texts for those who cannot read and write, in order to be able to understand the meaning of certain emotions and feelings. which he still cannot understand. So Violet will try to leave behind her cold military life and her old nickname “The Weapon” but it will not be an easy task.
