VOD news 04/22: ‘Los Fraguel: The fun continues’, color and music for the whole family

VOD News brings you the best releases of the week on Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+… And the offer is so weak as far as pure and hard premieres are concerned, that I have chosen to give a touch of color to the cover with The Fraguels: The fun continuesso don’t be scared. Of course, loose does not mean scarce: there is enough material, as you can see below.

We begin the weekly review, well, with what Apple TV + brings, which as usual is very little, but it is not only reduced to The Fraguels: the third season of servant, one of the most chilling series of the moment.

It should be noted that except for a catastrophe here in VOD News we prioritize premiere releases and servant it is not, contrary to The Fraguels: The fun continues, which is more like a reboot of the popular Jim Henson puppet series, although we must remember that Apple already did the same a couple of years ago with The Fraguels To the rhythm of Rock!. There is some nostalgia in putting a children’s series like this on top, I admit, although after seeing the trailer and not recognizing the original dubbing of the time -it was obvious, I didn’t expect it, but…- I based my choice on what said above: provide a touch of color -and joy- that the Fraguels nail. If you have little ones at home and you’re subscribed to Apple TV+… Let’s sing and dance with the Fraguel Rock!

More exclusive content:

  • servant (T3). “M. Night Shyamalan’s Servant centers on a grieving couple in the aftermath of an unspeakable tragedy. This situation causes a estrangement in the marriage, at the same time that it opens the doors of their house to a mysterious force.

We continue with HBO Max, which does not bring much max (bad joke!), but it is the best addition to the catalog that you will find in the entire section… And no, I am not referring to the featured content, which is just the opposite: I am referring to Fringe, a series that the service adds to its catalog. Do you like mystery, science fiction and have not seen it yet? Forget everything else and go for her immediately.

Of course, if what interests you are the premieres, HBO Max premieres Space Jam: New Legends, the new version of the Warner classic of the nineties, which like everything today, did not go through the theaters without controversy. It’s a movie for all audiences, which is often said… and a slapstick, but there you have it, if you’re subscribed to HBO Max.

There are also news on Amazon Prime Video, although again they are the least; the most, in catalog.

The biggest premiere of the week on Prime Video is As We See It, a new original series in which «three flatmates on the autism spectrum live their early twenties with joy, tears and laughter», a series of these mega-inclusive and super cool that is also very much liked by the critics, but for which Amazon prime Spain has not even deigned to launch a trailer, so…

Do you like World War II movies? Then you can go pointing Munich on the eve of a war to your list, because this British production about the first bars of the conflict is quite popular. The context gives you the trailer
