This is a storage service on remote Amazon servers that allows us to save all kinds of files.
Say goodbye to Amazon Drive for this reason
This is one of the many platforms of this type to save files in the cloud that technological giants offer us. Microsoft and Google are among them with their own services with these characteristics. However, it is important to know that, from the next December 31 of this same year, 2023, this service of Amazon Drive will disappear.
One of the main reasons for all this is that the retail giant wants to promote and extend the use of its other similar proposal. Specifically, we are referring to Amazon Photos that offers us unlimited space to save our personal images. As you can imagine, in order to benefit from all this we will also have to be subscribers to the Prime mode. With this, what we want to tell you is that, if you have your own information stored on these remote servers, you should download it as soon as possible.
In fact, and to avoid greater evils, Amazon itself has blocked the content upload to Drive since last January of this year. One of the biggest drawbacks that we are going to find after this disappearance is that we will not have a remote platform to save files other than photos or videos. For this we can use, from that date the aforementioned platform Amazon Photos, but for the rest of the files we will have to settle for other methods.
But the important thing that you should take into consideration is to remove the files stored in the Drive service before the date established for their disappearance at the end of the year.
