“Communication for a new society”, Dircom celebrates its 30 years

Dircom will celebrate its 30th Anniversary Congress, on November 23 and 24, at the IESE Campus (Madrid). The Minister of Territorial Policy and Government Spokesperson, Isabel Rodríguez, will be in charge of putting an end to an event entitled, “Communication for a new society”, inaugurated by the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida.

The congress will feature numerous conferences, round tables and workshops on technology, sustainability and people -the focus of the meeting- led by different experts in these areas. Among these are the philosopher, privacy expert and professor at the University of Oxford, Carissa Veliz, and Carlos Morenoa benchmark in the sustainability of cities.

Round tables and practical workshops

In the Congress they will participate as speakers Gonzalo Saenz de Miera, Director of Climate Change and Alliances at Iberdrola; joseph santacreuCEO of DKV; Sergio Fernandez, Pfizer Country Manager, and Cesar RomeraDirector of Communication, Marketing, Institutional Relations and CSR at Kyndryl, as well as prominent professionals from different fields: sociologists, political scientists, entrepreneurs, journalists, CEOs and businessmen, and technology experts.

In addition to these conferences, the four round tables of the Congress have become a great incentive for the already close to 400 registered attendees.

The first of them, on the 23rd, ‘Artificial intelligence, big data, communication and media: allies or enemies?‘, will analyze how data will be used in the future, what Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools are used in organizations and will also provide the perspective of a media publisher on the digital transformation process and the use of data and AI in your day to day.

with the title ‘Reading the environment, social listening and data’the second table will pay special attention to the keys and tools to take into account to read an environment as changing as the current one.

The third panel of the day, ‘Culture as a tool for growth in the entrepreneurial environment’, in collaboration with Endeavor Spain, it will focus on the use that we currently give to business culture as a tool for growth and for creating reputation and attracting talent.

The second and last day of the Congress, November 24, will take place the round table ‘New perspectives on Sustainability’in collaboration with ETHIC, which will discuss what is to come in terms of sustainability: socially responsible finance, the future of ESG or the sustainability of economic models.

During the two days of the Congress, the silver sponsors will offer different practical workshops to the attendees. “Creativity as brand attitude”, taught by Atrevia; “The ten commandments of a good lobbyist: how and when to lobby”, in charge of MAS Consulting; “Commstech: the future of communication is now”, hand in hand with LLYC, and “BeSocial: Santander’s program to promote the presence of its employees on social networks”, given by Banco Santander.
