Knock at the Cabin: Dave Bautista to star in new M. Night Shyamalan movie?

There seems to be no respite for Dave Bautista, the actor recently seen as Rabban in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune, who now appears to be very close to signing a contract to appear as the lead in Knock at the Cabin, the new film by M. Night Shyamalan.

Deadline reveals that the actor is close to signing the agreement that will lead him to add Shyamalan to the long list of illustrious directors with whom he has worked, after the aforementioned Denis Villeneuve, as well as Rian Johnson, Zack Snyder and James Gunn.

At the moment we still know nothing about the film, except that it should debut in theaters in the stars and stripes on February 3, 2023. What we do know, however, is that, if the agreement goes through, Bautista, who recently has just concluded the his engagement with the filming of Cena con Delitto 2, will have to split between the set of the Dune sequel and that of this new project, whose shooting periods should overlap.

Not enough for you? For a few days we have also known that Bautista will appear alongside Jason Momoa in a new film, an as-yet-unnamed action buddy comedy.

In short, it seems to be a golden age for the star and ex-wrestler.
