Nintendo has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for Pokémon Legends Arceus, due out this weekend on Switch.
In just a few days, Pokémon fans will finally be able to experience the long-awaited latest title, Pokemon Legends Arceus. The latter has the desire to be part of a revolutionary approach compared to the rest of the franchise because of its free gameplay, its open world and the quantity of Pokémon it takes on board. Today, Nintendo unveils a new trailer which aims to show us more of the gameplay of the title before its release.
In this trailer, we are taught how to complete our mission to complete the very first Pokédex. To do this, you’ll need to travel the region of Hisui, later known as Sinnoh, to seek out species of Pokemon you don’t yet know, and catch them to study. But, you can imagine, the task will be far from easy, and for this reason many creatures may attack you when you try to capture them.
Will then trigger turn-based battles as we like them, during which you can weaken the most tenacious Pokémon, and this by helping you with a Pokémon already domesticated. Once this is done, you will have to report to Professor Lavender, and rest at the bivouac to regain your strength. Of course, you can help yourself with different items in your quest, which you can buy or craft yourself using your resources.
Pokemon do you want some here
With this trailer, we also learn more about the environment of Hisui and thus about the different Pokémon that inhabit this region. As a reminder, there will be more than 200 species of Pokémon and this opus will also introduce mounts. In the trailer, we saw three of them: Cerbylline to travel on land, Paragruel to move on water, and Gueriaigle de Hisui to move in the air. Your mission will take you to meet the monarch Pokémon, which you will have to appease since they are in the grip of an unusual rage.
Regarding the environment itself, we have some reservations about the graphic quality of this opus. Often compared to Zelda Breath of the Wild, not only for its gameplay but also for its open world, Pokemon Legends Arceus still seems to pale in comparison to the latter, a feeling that we can not help feeling while watching this trailer. Visually, the title seems almost crude. Let’s just hope that controller in hand, everything is based to leave room only for the fun of the game.
