How to obtain a certificate of being up to date with Social Security
The first thing we must do, regardless of whether we have a digital certificate on our computer or not, is to visit the website of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, where we must click on Reports and Certificates. We can access this section directly through the following link.
by postal mail
If we do not have an electronic certificate, we can find out if we have any debt with Social Security through ordinary mail. To use this method, we just have to click on Report of being up to date with Social Security obligations by mail and then click on Request, where we must enter our data, data that must match the data that this body has registered about us.
Telematics
If we do not want to wait for the postman to arrive at our house with the letter from Social Security, we can use the electronic route to obtain a certificate of our situation in Social Security.
To obtain this information electronically, on the same web page where we can obtain this certificate by post, we will click on Certificate of being up to date with Social Security obligations and then click on Get Accessafter selecting On my own behalf in the drop-down box that appears just below this button.
Next, we must select the method that we want to use to identify ourselves in Social Security from our computer. The options that we have available are the same as those for making any other query via telematics, both at Social Security and at the Treasury: Cl@ve Permanente, Cl@ve PIN, Via SMS and DNIe or certificate.
